Car Insurance Honda (Car Insurance). My motor home's motor skips and didn't find the problem yet.?My motor home's motor skips and didn't find the problem yet.? Check engine lights up when I put the machine to get the error code :nothing came out. This problem started three years ago and very seldom and now it's getting worst. Seem not enough gas coming to the motor. Gas filter was changed many time and I put some product to eliminate the water in gas tank. The problem still occurs. The motor never stops but if I climb a big hill, no more power. I have to stop and the motor is still idling. And I wait few minutes, and I can start again for many many miles. Could somebody help me please. If your motor home is an OBD II vehicle and the light flashes that is an indication of a misfire and pending converter damage. No codes being present is an indication that someone cleared the "Freeze Frame" data and the PCM's memory without repairing the problem did u install a fuel pump also look for in line fuel filters from the gas tank all the way up to the motor it might have more than one Those are the typical symptoms of the most probable cause: An engine ignition misfire caused by spark not getting to the spark plugs completely. If your spark plug wires are over 10 years old, I'd replace them with a new quality set of wires. Change the spark plugs too if your owner's manual says they're due for replacement. The new pads come with new clips which have dog ears on them- they are long and thin, bend back in. Are these warning tabs (those are on the pads), or some type of spring to force the pads away from each other (no other springs exists). Do I have to bend them back under the pad or how exactly do they sit? Also, should that clip go on the top or bottom part of the caliper? I am just trying to figure out how they go. To be clear, the pads came with two, tin like clips that sit inside the caliper and allow it to slide back and forth. One clip has that extra appendage on it- both inside and outside of the clip. If I do nothing with them, they will just sit there and have no function at all, as they will not touch anything. I think they are about 1" long, then fold back in about 3/4" and they are thin. car insurance. Auto parts : Throttle Body Spacer Scion 1999. Tie Rod End Smart 2000. Truck Box Sterling 2001. Honda . How to Check and Refill the Battery Electrolyte in a Chevy CamaroThe Chevrolet Camaro is a classic pony car developed in the early 60s with the characteristics of being compact, stylish and sporty. The Chevrolet Camaro car features first, second, third, fourth and fifth generation editions. It's important to follow these simple steps below to check and refill your Camaro's electrolyte fluid to keep your battery properly charged. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Step by Step : 1 Check the battery electrolyte level at least once a month. Check it more often during hot summer months. 2 Turn the engine off and prop the hood open. 3 Remove the cell caps on the battery if it's not translucent. There's a line marked on the outside of the battery case. This is where the electrolyte fluid level should be. 4 Add distilled water if the battery electrolyte level is low. You want to use distilled water because the chemicals in tap water can harm your car's battery. If you have to add water when the temperature is below freezing, first drive several mile to warm up the fluid. Otherwise, the water will freeze. 5 Check the built in hydrometer if you have a maintenance-free battery in your Camaro. A green eye indicates that the battery has plenty of electrolyte fluid and there's plenty of battery charge. A dark eye indicates that there is electrolyte fluid but the battery is low on charge. A yellow eye indicates that there is not enough electrolyte fluid and the battery is low on charge. 6 Put the cell caps back on the cells. Tips & Warnings Battery electrolyte fluid is sulfuric acid and is hazardous if you get on your skin. Wash with cold water immediately if you do spill on your skin. Work around the battery with care.
Honda . How to Troubleshoot a 1994 Infiniti J30The Infinity J30 was introduced in 1992 and remained in production until 1997. The Infinity brand is the high-end line of cars manufactured by Nissan Motor Company of Japan. The J30 is a rear wheel drive four-door sedan that features a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine. If your Infinity J30 is not performing as you expect, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot it at home before taking it into a mechanic. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Wire brush baking soda Step by Step : 1 Insert the key for your 1994 Infinity J30 into the ignition and turn the key to start the engine. Part of troubleshooting the Infinity J30 is listening for any unusual sounds when you turn the key. If you hear a clicking noise coming from the bottom of the engine compartment, it may be an indication that the starter motor is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. 2 Turn the key, and if the engine turns over slowly or barely at all, stop trying to start the engine, pull the engine hood release and open the hood to the engine compartment. Inspect where the battery cables are connected to the battery. If there is corrosion on the connection, use a wire brush to remove the corrosion. If the corrosion is very bad, mix a cup of water and a tablespoon of baking soda. Pour a little bit of the mixture onto the connection to loosen the corrosion and use the wire brush to clean it off. 3 Take the Infinity J30 for a test drive. Press the accelerator and see how it responds. If you notice a hesitation when you use the accelerator, it may be an indication that the fuel filter is plugged. Remove and replace the fuel filter and take the J30 for another test drive. If the same problem exists, the fuel injectors may be clogged and need servicing. There are gas additives that may resolve the problem. If the problem persists, the injectors will need to be cleaned by a mechanic. 4 Drive the Infinity J30 to an empty parking lot. Accelerate, then press the brakes firmly. If you notice a pulsing feeling in the brake pedal or in the motion of the car, it may be an indication the brake rotors are not wearing evenly. This should be looked at as soon as possible, as it will affect the brakes' ability to stop the car. *8. Allow the engine to cool and then drain the water out of the system into the bucket again. Pour that water into a closed container for disposal. 9. Refill the system with water and coolant. See "Determining how much coolant you need," earlier in this chapter. The liquid should reach the "Max" line on the coolant recovery reservoir. If it doesn't, add equal parts water and coolant until it does. 10. Replace the pressure cap and run the engine with the heater on high until the temperature gauge reads in the normal range. This step disperses the water and coolant evenly throughout the system. 11. 687

Ford Crown Victoria. * You can buy products for cleaning the cooling system during the flushing process. These products remove rust and sediment that flushing with plain water can't. If your cooling system has been cleaned regularly and you want to clean it yourself, buy a well-known brand and follow the instructions on the package carefully. Chapter 14: Keeping Your Car from Getting Heartburn Be aware that using a cleaner on a system that has years of built-up rust and sediment can free so much of the stuff that you run the risk of clogging your radiator or thermostat, or possibly loosening the deposits that have prevented the system from leaking. If your vehicle's cooling system hasn't been cleaned for a couple of years, have the system flushed, cleaned, and refilled professionally. Keeping coolant out of the mouthsof babes and small animals Anyone who has raised kids through the crawling and toddling stages knows that they tend pick up the most revolting stuff off the ground and put it into their mouths. Because coolant looks and tastes good, a puddle of the stuff can be hazardous. That goes double for thirsty cats, dogs, and wildlife. Most coolant contains ethylene glycol, which is poisonous when swallowed. According to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), this chemical causes depression, followed by respiratory and cardiac failure, kidney damage, and brain damage. Although no coolant is completely nontoxic, some coolants on the market contain propylene glycol instead of ethylene glycol to reduce their toxicity. At least one (Prestone LowTox) has received the Seal of Approval from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). However, even if you use this type of coolant, be sure to follow the instructions in this section. Take these steps to protect your pets and small children from accidentally drinking coolant: 1. Make it a habit to check under your vehicle for coolant leaks. If you find a puddle of colored liquid below the under-the-hood area — and it isn't oily — it's probably coolant. Honda .
